this is only level one. my name, does not really matter right now. today we are playing dr. jekyll and mr. hyde on our quest to beat the first level of every official nes game. this game is the greatest game to ever existed.

it is the easiest game. all you have to do is walk. hello lady, i'm walking. hello house, i'm walking.

hello mister, i'm walking. hello bomb, i'm running. did not get me. just got to pass the first area. spider. ow. why did that guy throw something? ah, there's a bomb. and boom. so i'm going to have to pass this with dr. jekyll and mr. hyde.

i have to pass the first level. because there are two parts to this game. you can get really, i can't speak with this thing on. you can really get into this music, right? yeah. ow, dog. there's a cat that's going to run after me. awe, he left before the bomb went off. so i can't pass hyde's first level, or first area, unless i pass dr. jekyll's first area.

because as hyde, if you get to the same point that dr. jekyll's at you automatically get struck by lightning and die. woop, dog again. and i got hit by the bomb again. oh, good. whew, that was a close one. i got to watch out for that. this music is just getting to me. alright, here's the first area.

we made it to the cemetary. and now we'll keep going. and then as soon as we turn into hyde we will, uh, be doing that...ah poop! ah, poop! bomb. oh, that was a close one. hehehe.

here come's another bomb. oh, he laid it in front of me, i'm dead. oh! that's close. okay. going up, going up. passing the grave stones. woop, no! go away mr. digger man. oh. there we go. okay, there's the cat.

there's a cat behind me. ah, nope here comes the cat. and, jump the cat. okay good, i lucked out there. another cat? dog! dog! cat! dog! yeah, go away cat. i think the dog's are the hardest thing in this one they trigger so much. well, that and the bombs.

yeah, i see you doggie. uh, uh, there we go. jump, ah. oh, i don't know if i'm going to make this! no, cat! don't bomb! bomb! bomb no, no, no! oh, i thought i was going to turn. i at least want to make it pass the cemetary. woop, uh, nope, nope, oh i'm so close.

my, uh, meter is almost all the way down. oh, boy. jump dog! jump! and i got hit. okay, now i turn into hyde go back to the very beginning of the game and we fight in his world. and we just do up, just do this. ow! come on.

uh, oh. i'm not doing to great. uh, my, my things are missing. ahhhh! get them all! i think i was supposed to pick up that coin. but, oh well! got it, okay. ah, shoot everything! ahhhh! so now, i go back to dr jekyll.

and i keep going. i'm not going to concider this beat until i beat hyde's oh man! until i beat hyde's level one get out of here little digger. oh, bomb. please don't. okay good. watch for cat, watch for dog. here's the end of the cemetary. and, here comes the kitty cat.

no! okay, mr. bomber. oh no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no oh, that was close. and jump. and go. jump dog! jump dog! ow, stupid dog. *horrible singing* oh, boy. okay good. the bird turned away.

where's the end of this stage? oh, here it is. cat. can i make it?yeah i made it. back to the village. so interesting fact, about this, uh, game. um, the us version has... oh, boy. ouch! the us version.... go away.

the us version has 2 villages, where the other versions, i think the europe version... what? well, i just figured something out. awesome. doesn't really do me much good. ow! hahahaha. alright, let's finish off this level here. ow.

ow! this is not going to be good! i can't die here! come on! no, no, no, no (lot's of no's) okay, so here's the problem. everyone that i kill it takes me back to... there we go.

uh. is that it? game over. okay, so i passed the first level with dr. jekyll. i think with a little more practice i could get pretty far in that game. so, that was dr. jekyll and mr. hyde. join me tomorrow as we continue our quest, to beat every nes game
